ART 4010 Advanced Graphic Design & Advertising

Reflection

The ART 4010 Graphic Design and Advertising course are often very small with no more than four students. In fall 2018 the course was canceled due to no enrollment and in the spring 2019 semester, the number of students was four. Students worked collaboratively on a product design project, developing a brand for bubble tea. KoalaTea was developed using the standard design thinking process, where the students worked together to create a brand identity, physical environment, and digital application to promote their product to the user/market. KoalaTea was presented by Briana Pace and Lauren Nguyen in the Festival of Scholars in spring 2019. They received excellent feedback and responses from faculty and students.
